How the whole-report check works
- Read: the CSV is parsed in your browser. Lines beginning with # are ignored.
- Map: columns are matched to fields (Feature type, Depth, Length, Orientation, Wall thickness and so on), and you can change any mapping and unit.
- Calculate: each metal-loss row (corrosion, pitting, general, grooving and similar) gets a failure pressure, safe pressure (Pf / SF), ERF (MAOP / safe pressure) and failure pressure ratio (Pf / MAOP) from the selected method.
- Screen: a basic 49 CFR 192.933(d) screen flags Immediate (Pf ≤ 1.1 × MAOP, depth > 80% WT, top-side dent with metal loss), One-year (Class 2 Pf < 1.39 × MAOP, Class 3/4 Pf < 1.50 × MAOP, top-side dent > 6% OD, dent > 2% OD at a weld, bottom-side dent with metal loss), Scheduled (B31.8S) (Class 1, 1.1 < Pf/MAOP < 1.39) and Monitor.
- Export: the original columns plus DigSheet results go into a new CSV.
What it does not do (yet)
- No interaction or clustering rules. Each row is assessed on its own.
- No crack, seam, SCC or hard-spot rules, no corrosion growth, and no RSTRENG on box-level data, which has no profile.
- The 192.933 screen only uses the columns you provide. Things like pipeline crossings, widespread circumferential corrosion and seam type need an engineer's review.
- Tool tolerance is not applied. Add your tool's depth tolerance to the reported depth if your procedure requires it.
